Sara has practised law for more than 15 years with a focus in media and entertainment, technology and advertising and marketing laws.  She has extensive experience structuring, drafting and negotiating a broad range of commercial and licensing agreements that position clients to realize their business objectives while navigating risks.  Sara’s success in getting deals done comes from a practical, solutions-oriented approach.

Prior to joining Inter Alia Law, Sara was the Vice President, Global Legal and Business Affairs at WildBrain and led the commercial legal team responsible for content development and production, worldwide sales and distribution, digital media platforms, linear television channels and consumer products and licensing.  Sara has also held in-house counsel roles at Astral Media and Bell Media and started her legal career at McMillan in the Business Law Group.  Before becoming a lawyer, Sara served as a Production Executive on several feature film and television productions with Buffalo Gal Pictures, Summit Films and Minds Eye Pictures.
