Erin is an experienced General Counsel who simplifies complex legal problems and provides practical solutions for her clients. She is skilled at negotiating deals and managing legal operations and processes. Over the course of her career, Erin has served corporations of all sizes, individuals, charities and non-profits. Her practice has focused on corporate, intellectual property and entertainment law, often in innovative, technology-based industries.
Prior to joining Inter Alia Law, Erin was General Counsel and Corporate Secretary at MaRS Discovery District where she built an agile, client-focused in-house team from the ground up. She launched programs at MaRS to support compliance and efficiency while streamlining processes. In Erin’s governance role, she collaborated closely with the CEO and the board of directors and led the governance function through strategic transformation.
Before MaRS, Erin practiced corporate and M&A law for five years at Blake, Cassels & Graydon LLP where she advised on complex, high-value transactions and varied commercial agreements. She then moved in-house and practiced for eight years at Bell Media where she advised on a diverse range of matters, including licensing, content acquisition, content production, branded content and advertising.

- Erin is an avid traveller and loves to visit new places and old favourites (like the south of France).
- Board Member (2023-present) and Chair of the Nominating and Governance Committee (2025-present) for Fall For Dance North.
